About Daisy Mountain Railroad
Daisy Mountain Railroad in Anthem, Arizona operates a 24-inch gauge train that travels 2800 feet of track through a community park about 25 miles north of Phoenix. Riders board at a spacious loading platform and enjoy a leisurely 10-minute journey past a tiered seating area, through a tunnel carved into faux rock, across a trestle spanning a small lake, and around a children's playground. The route winds past skateboard ramps, softball and soccer fields, and features sparkling waterfalls and lush landscaping. The train climbs a challenging grade from the tunnel back toward the depot, with crossing signals that flash and ring as the locomotive approaches. The railroad also operates a Candy Cane Express during winter and holiday hours with festive lights and special treats. Admission prices are published on the venue's website.
