The CFA Foundation's Feline Historical Museum in Alliance, Ohio preserves the history of pedigreed cats and the cat fancy through exhibits, artifacts, and an extensive library. Museum artifacts span from an 1883 pewter nut bowl awarded as first prize at the Boston Cat Show to an 1895 Cosey collar. The library began in 1990 with 100 books and stud books, expanding through decades of acquisitions into one of the most significant collections of cat-related materials.
