About Carriage Hill MetroPark
Carriage Hill MetroPark in Huber Heights features forests, meadows, and prairies across former farmland where visitors hike and ride horses on natural trails. The Daniel Arnold Historical Farm recreates 1880s farm life with period animals and buildings, allowing guests to experience agricultural heritage firsthand. The park also includes a Riding Center with barns open daily, horse trailer parking, and Cedar Lake as an established fishing destination. A Visitor Center provides information and orientation. The grounds offer acres of peaceful woodland and open space suitable for walking, horseback riding, and family outings. Redwing Shelter accommodates group gatherings.
