About Boardwalk Beast

Boardwalk Beast is a speedboat thrill ride on Galveston Bay near Kemah. Visitors board the Beast for a 25-minute cruise that accelerates to speeds up to 40 mph, traveling approximately 4 miles into the bay. The ride delivers high-speed thrills with wind, music, and entertainment as the boat roars through the water. Riders must remain seated throughout, and the Captain and crew ensure passengers get wet during the experience. Ponchos are available for purchase at the ticket booth. Riders must be at least 36 inches tall; children under 36 inches who can walk may ride at the Captain's discretion depending on weather and sea conditions. The attraction suits visitors in good health without heart, back, neck problems, or motion sickness concerns. Expectant mothers are advised to avoid riding if experiencing problems or late in pregnancy. The ride operates on a seasonal schedule that varies monthly, located at the Kemah Boardwalk.
