The Bexley Historical Society operates a museum in the Caretaker's Cottage on the Jeffrey Mansion grounds, where visitors explore artifacts, photographs, genealogical records, and memorabilia documenting Bexley's heritage from prehistoric times to the present. Exhibit highlights include displays on early settlers, the village's development, military participation, schools, transportation, businesses, and a portrait gallery. The museum is open during regular monthly hours, and group tours can be arranged by appointment. The society also conducts oral history interviews, publishes an annual newsletter, and provides educational outreach to schools and civic organizations. A gift shop offers Bexley-related note cards, books, and artwork. The museum is located next to the David H. Madison Community Pool in Bexley, Ohio. The Bexley Historical Society is a nonprofit founded in 1974 that preserves and interprets the accomplishments of Bexley's citizens and institutions through research, publication, and community events.
