About Art Play Café

Art Play Café combines a wooden climbing structure with a slide, art easel station, and rotating sensory play tables in its dedicated indoor play room for children up to seven in downtown Petaluma. Parents sit in the venue interior while kids explore cardboard boxes, scarves, and pretend play areas. The café serves espresso drinks and pastries from local Sonoma County kitchens, with seating overlooking the play room. The space also hosts events including weekly Puppet Showtime performances on Thursday afternoons and Shake, Rattle, and Roll music classes for ages zero through four on Wednesday mornings. A 90-minute play session costs $18 per child, or $16 for each sibling joining a paid guest. CalFresh cardholders receive $5 off admission. Tickets are sold online at artplaycafe.com, where hours are published.
