About Anderson Ferry on Ohio side

Anderson Ferry on Ohio side carries vehicles across the Ohio River on three working ferries: the Boone 7, Little Boone, and Deborah A. Visitors arrive at the landing, board when a ferry is ready, and cross in typically less than fifteen minutes. The Boone 7, built in 1937, remains in regular service alongside newer vessels. The ferry operates most days, with two boats running during peak hours and a single ferry at other times. Located about ten miles west of downtown Cincinnati on Ohio's West Side, it provides the only automobile crossing between the I-71/75 Brent Spence Bridge and the I-275 West Bridge, making it popular with commuters. The route saves West Side residents considerable driving distance. The ferry has operated continuously since 1817 and remains a working Cincinnati icon for daily crossings and convenient travel.
