About Wonders Center & Science Museum
Wonders Center & Science Museum in Dickson is a 100,000-square-foot science museum featuring interactive exhibits and hands-on activities across multiple halls. Visitors explore the Wonders of Paleontology, Africa, Astronomy, Literature, Archaeology, Zoology, Human Anatomy, and Geology. The museum's planetarium offers immersive digital dome shows. Children engage with a dino-dig sand pit, downhill car racing that teaches physics, touch tanks with live aquariums, augmented reality sandbox, gear stations, heat imaging displays, and optical illusions. Guests can touch real dinosaur bones and meteorites, operate buzz-wire games, and build structures from giant blocks. The facility includes a Tesla Coil demonstration, live geckos and lizards, and fluorescent rocks. A 55-foot Camarasaurus skeleton stands in the rotunda. The museum accommodates school groups and homeschool programs. A cafe and gift shop with educational resources are on-site. It is located in Dickson, approximately 35 minutes from downtown Nashville.
