About Vollmer Farm - Farm Market & Cafe'
Vollmer Farm - Farm Market & Cafe' is a fifth-generation working family farm in Bunn, North Carolina, about thirty minutes from the Triangle. The farm grows fresh organic produce and operates a market, cafe, and ice cream shop serving homemade ice cream and waffle cones along with other food items and gifts. Visitors pick their own berries and pumpkins during growing seasons. In fall, the Back-40 playground opens on weekends, offering a forty-acre space with numerous activities and games for all ages. School groups can arrange tours of the working farm. The Market and Cafe operates during spring, summer, and fall with varying hours throughout the week. The farm also hosts turkey shoots and other seasonal events. Families seeking hands-on agricultural experiences, from produce picking to playground activities in a fresh-air setting, find activities suited to multiple ages and interests at this working farm.
