About Tuscora Park
Tuscora Park in New Philadelphia offers amusement rides, swimming, miniature golf, and outdoor recreation. The park features a 1928 antique carousel with hand-carved wooden horses and a Wurlitzer organ, a vintage ferris wheel operating since 1943, a roller coaster around a 280-foot oval track, a smaller kiddy ferris wheel, a vintage chair swing ride, and a train pulled by a vintage locomotive that circles the miniature golf course and pond. Three pools of different sizes serve swimmers: an Olympic-size pool with lap-swim lanes, a diving pool with low and high boards, and a separate kiddie pool for children five and under. Lifeguards staff the larger pools. The park also provides picnic pavilions and outdoor shelters surrounded by green hillsides and shade trees. The facilities suit families with children of various ages seeking amusement rides, aquatic activities, and outdoor recreation. The park is located off Interstate 77, a few miles south of Canton in New Philadelphia, Ohio.
