The Ohio Railway Museum in Worthington brings railroad history to life through vintage train rides and hands-on exploration. Visitors board Canadian National Coach No. 5060 for standard train rides included with admission, or book extra experiences such as cab rides and speeder rides at the depot. The grounds feature vintage streetcars, interurbans, steam and diesel locomotives, a railway post office car, passenger cars, and cabooses. Historic structures including a freight depot, section house, and scale house reflect small-town railroad life. Beyond riding the rails, families wander the grounds at their own pace, examining equipment and artifacts with help from volunteer docents. Additional activities include gem mining at the sluice, picnicking at shaded tables, and Throttle Time experiences where visitors operate a diesel locomotive from the engineer's seat. Admission is charged at the gate with three pricing levels. The museum operates on Saturdays and welcomes railroad enthusiasts and families seeking a memorable experience with Ohio's rail heritage.
