Texas Tubes operates a tubing outfitter on the spring-fed Comal River in New Braunfels, where visitors rent inner tubes and float downstream for approximately two to two-and-a-half hours. Tubers can choose tubes with or without bottoms, and cooler tubes are also available for rent. A return shuttle ride back to the starting point is included with each tube rental. The float trip itself covers the river's natural course, with the experience varying based on river levels, how many people are tubing, and whether visitors paddle, swim, or stop to picnic along the way. Children must be at least four years old and accompanied by a parent or guardian. Visitors on a single float trip can arrange additional float trips the same day for an extra fee if they return in time. Texas Tubes accepts multiple payment methods and operates seasonally from spring through fall in New Braunfels, Texas.
