About Summit County Fairgrounds

Summit County Fairgrounds in Tallmadge hosts dog shows, alpaca shows, motocross events, car shows, horse shows, roller derby, and gymnastics meets throughout the year, with rides operating daily. Visitors enjoy special entertainment during the annual fair week, including the Pork Chop Revue comedy show, the Farm to Fair agricultural education show, the Kountry K9 dog show featuring skateboarding and rope-jumping canines, and Chainsaw Shari's daily carving demonstrations. The grounds also feature seasonal markets: the Harvest Mart with handmade crafts, hayrides, and apple cider slushies; the Holiday Mart with over 230 vendors and Santa visits; and the Mothers Day Mart with vintage antiques and educational vendor talks. Families visiting for rides can purchase a discounted ride wristband for fifteen dollars from eleven in the morning to four in the afternoon on Thursdays, down from the regular twenty-dollar price. Admission to various events and shows is published on the venue's website, where tickets are sold online.
