Living City Farms is a certified organic regenerative farm in Tallmadge where visitors grow their understanding of sustainable agriculture through hands-on experiences and education. The farm cultivates diverse vegetables including arugula, lettuce, tomatoes, and zucchini, along with regional fruits like strawberries, ground cherries, and pawpaws using closed-loop, no-till practices without synthetic inputs. Seasonal U-pick experiences allow visitors to harvest spring strawberries, summer tomatoes and zucchini, and fall pumpkins, sunflowers, gourds, and pawpaws directly from the land. The Living City Workshop Series offers on-site classes covering homesteading, organic gardening, microgreens, aquaponics, permaculture, fertilizer tea brewing, and integrated pest management. The farm also hosts Croptober Fest, an autumn festival celebrating the harvest with partners, local artists, and community members. Visitors can purchase fresh produce through the online webstore and seasonal farmstand. The integrated farming system demonstrates closed-loop sustainability through Black Soldier Fly cultivation, chicken operations, and aquaponic fish production.
Living City Farms publishes its own offers, and when livingcityfarms.com was last read, on , there was none.
The page stays here because the attraction is still worth knowing about, and because we keep checking. If a deal appears on their site, it appears here.
