Stade's Farm & Market is a working farm in McHenry County where visitors pick their own fresh produce and explore seasonal attractions. The pick-your-own fields offer apples, strawberries, raspberries, tomatoes, sugar snap peas, green beans, peppers, onions, leafy greens, and pumpkins throughout the growing season. The farm includes a 30-acre pumpkin patch and a 12,000-tree apple orchard. Family attractions feature a petting zoo, corn maze, giant slides, and hayrides. The on-site farm market sells homegrown fruits and vegetables, honey, bakery items, specialty and gourmet foods, and unique gift items, along with Townsend Meats and Eggs. During the Shades of Autumn Fall Festival, the farm offers more than 50 farm-themed attractions, special events, and food. The farm market operates daily with published hours on the venue's website, and pick-your-own hours vary by season. The farm is located in McHenry, Illinois, approximately 50 miles northwest of Chicago.
