San Joaquin County Historical Museum spans 18 acres in Micke Grove Regional Park, where visitors walk through multiple buildings and exhibits tracing the region's heritage from the Miwok and Yokuts Indians through Charles Weber, founder of Stockton, and into modern agricultural development. The museum showcases San Joaquin County's contributions to farming and innovation through educational displays emphasizing ingenuity and invention. Families explore at their own pace, taking picnic lunches and strolls between exhibits while learning regional history. The museum opens Thursday through Sunday. Adults pay admission; seniors and military visitors receive a reduced rate, youth ages 6–17 enter at a lower price, and children ages 0–5 enter free with paid adult admission.
