About Salisbury Ghost Walk
The Salisbury Ghost Walk is a walking tour through a six-block area of downtown Historic Salisbury that reveals legends, ghost stories, and findings from paranormal investigations in local homes and historic buildings. Visitors walk around outside in the evening while hearing well-researched narratives about the town's reputation as "the wettest and wickedest town." The stories come from a published book by Karen C. Lilly-Bowyer and are based on investigations completed by professional paranormal societies. Tours last nearly two hours and suit families and groups interested in local history and the paranormal. Participants should bring a flashlight and camera, wear appropriate outdoor clothing, and consider bringing bug spray or long sleeves. The attraction also offers paranormal investigation opportunities led by professional paranormal societies at varying locations, both outside and in historic buildings. Reservations are suggested, and private tours are available for groups of eight or more. The venue is located in Salisbury, North Carolina.
