About Rock City Gardens

Rock City Gardens is a mountaintop attraction on Lookout Mountain where visitors explore gardens, ancient rock formations, and hidden gnomes along marked hiking trails. The self-guided Enchanted Trail features four color-coded paths that loop through named features including Fat Man's Squeeze, a narrow rock passage, and the Standing Stones Garden with peaceful stone arrangements. Visitors encounter the 1,000-ton Balanced Rock, Rainbow Hall, and the Swinging Bridge, as well as whimsical characters like the troll Ibsen and the regal Throne. The Hall of the Mountain King path winds past the Heart of the Mountain, while the Bridges path offers exhilarating crossings and views from The Perch.
