Quarry Trails Metro Park transforms a former limestone quarry into a recreation destination across 182 acres in Columbus, Ohio. Visitors hike trails, observe the landscape from designated areas, and ride a single-track mountain bike trail. The park features a 25-foot waterfall, lakes, a via ferrata climbing route, and a sport climbing area. The site occupies the location of the Marble Cliff Quarry, once the largest contiguous quarry in the United States, which provided limestone for over a century to build the Ohio Statehouse, roads, and buildings throughout central Ohio. The park suits hikers, climbers, and mountain bikers of varying skill levels. Ranger-led programs and classes are available for visitors. The park opens at 6:30 a.m. and closes at dark daily. Multiple entrances provide access to different areas of the park.
