About Prairie Moon Farm
Prairie Moon Farm is a family-owned agritourism destination in Knoxville, Illinois, where visitors interact with farm animals and attend seasonal festivals throughout the year. The farm is home to reindeer, alpacas, mini donkeys, and kune kune pigs that guests can meet and feed during visits. Spring activities include encountering baby animals and shopping the Spring Market with vendors and food. Summer features the Firefly Nights Festival with live music, food trucks, and animal encounters under the stars. The fall pumpkin patch offers pumpkin picking, train rides, seasonal treats, and photo opportunities across the countryside. Winter transforms the farm into a holiday destination where families visit live reindeer, shop the Christmas Market, and meet Santa. The farm also offers private animal experiences, educational field trips, birthday parties, and group visits. Overnight cottage rental is available through Airbnb for visitors wishing to extend their stay.
