About Farmgate Market
Farmgate Market in Galva, Illinois operates a seasonal farm attraction. Visitors pick their own pumpkins from a patch with over 10,000 pumpkins in at least 30 varieties, available daily from 9 AM to 6 PM, with weekend hayride tours. The farm includes a seven-acre corn maze with twelve hidden checkpoints to locate. A barnyard zoo allows interaction with goats, chickens, ducks, pot-bellied pigs, and kittens. The family fun park offers pedal carts, a pumpkin catapult game, and a straw fort constructed from over 1,000 bales with an internal maze and slide. The farm store stocks over 30 pumpkin varieties, painted pumpkins, gourds, corn shocks, local honey, apple cider, jams, jellies, fresh eggs, and local crafts. An old dairy barn houses hundreds of pumpkins in various shapes and colors.
