About Pomerene Center for the Arts artPARK

Pomerene Center for the Arts artPARK is an open public space in downtown Coshocton where visitors engage in hands-on creative activities. The artPARK hosts family summer arts programs on Thursday mornings, where participants work with clay, paper, and paint to create art projects inspired by themes like the classic film Trip to the Moon. The venue transforms seasonally, featuring installations such as silk lanterns that glow and cast mandala snowflake patterns onto the ground during winter months. Throughout the year, the artPARK hosts community events including Dogwood lunch concerts, an annual tradition since 1985 featuring performances by regional high school jazz bands and choirs. The space also serves as a venue for collaborative art-making projects where families and community members work with visiting artists to create lanterns and other installations. Located on Main Street in Coshocton, the artPARK operates as an accessible gathering place for creative expression and community involvement in the arts.
