About Pensacola Lighthouse & Maritime Museum

The Pensacola Lighthouse & Maritime Museum, located on Naval Air Station Pensacola, invites visitors to climb 177 steps up the historic lighthouse tower built in 1859 and explore exhibits in the Richard C. Callaway Museum, housed in the restored 1869 keeper's quarters. The lighthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and remains an active U.S. Coast Guard aid to navigation. General admission includes access to all museum exhibits and grounds alongside the tower climb. Climbers must be at least 44 inches tall or 7 years old, with children 12 and under requiring a ticketed adult companion. Special events such as Ghost Hunts, Sunset and Full Moon Climbs, and reserved seating for U.S. Navy Blue Angels practices offer additional experiences. The museum operates daily and is located in Pensacola, Florida, accessible through the West Gate on Blue Angel Parkway with valid government-issued identification.
