About Peace Dive Boat

Peace Dive Boat is a scuba and freediving tour vessel based in Ventura that takes divers on single and multi-day trips to the Channel Islands, Cortes Bank, and Tanner Bank. The 62-foot wooden-hulled boat, built in 1972 and converted for diving operations, carries 24 bunks, a full galley, a hot tub seating eight, and a chase boat. Divers explore kelp forests, cave systems, rock arches, and sheer walls while encountering California moray eels, giant black sea bass, garibaldi, harbor seals, sea lions, bat rays, and Spanish shawl nudibranchs. Marine mammals such as dolphins and whales are frequently spotted from the boat, while young sea lions often approach divers with curiosity. The boat features four compressors for air fills, with nitrox available for an additional fee. Meals are provided onboard. Peace Dive Boat also arranges specialty charters for families, snorkeling trips, whale and seal viewing, photography, research groups, and school groups exploring this remote National Park environment.
