Owen Orchards is an old-fashioned apple orchard and farm located on Route 5 between Elbridge and Auburn in Weedsport, New York. Visitors wander the orchard at their own pace to pick from 15 U-Pick apple varieties. The farm store carries fresh apples, homemade pies, fresh-pressed apple cider, and apple cider donuts, alongside locally grown vegetables, condiments, cheeses, and preserves. The property spans 30 acres with more than 25 apple varieties, plus another 10 acres set aside for peaches, pumpkins, and squash. The 1,500 square-foot store includes a cider mill and commercial kitchen. Visitors also see original antique tractors from the 1920s displayed outside. Now in its fifth generation and family-owned, Owen Orchards has drawn families for decades seeking the simple experience of picking apples and sampling fresh cider and cider donuts without commercial gimmicks.
