About Oil Creek & Titusville Railroad
The Oil Creek & Titusville Railroad takes visitors on three-hour round-trip excursions through scenic Oil Creek State Park aboard vintage Pullman cars built in 1930. Passengers travel from Perry Street Station, an early 1890s freight station, into Pennsylvania Oil Country and learn about the region's oil history and the people who shaped it. The Railway Post Office Car, the only one still operating in the USA, allows visitors to mail postcards and letters that receive an official USPS hand stamp. Snacks and beverages are available on the Railway Post Office Car and at Perry Street Station and Rynd Farm Station. The open-air Gondola Car offers views of the Oil Creek Valley. First Class seating on the Wabash provides air conditioning and more comfortable seats. Wildlife viewing opportunities include groundhogs, bald eagles, ducks, deer, blue herons, and occasional black bears. A museum, gift shop, and concession stand operate at Perry Street Station. Tickets are sold online through the railroad's website.
