National Museum of Industrial History houses over 200 artifacts in the former Electric Repair Shop of the Bethlehem Steel plant, telling stories of the 1876 Centennial Exposition, iron, steel, textiles, propane and more. The museum sits on the SteelStacks arts and culture campus near the iconic Bethlehem Steel Blast Furnaces and Hoover Mason Trestle. Visitors explore hands-on interactives and the esteemed Smithsonian Industrial collection through dynamic exhibits. The museum offers group tours led by expert docents, school tours designed for S.T.E.A.M. education, and event rentals in unique venues steps from the blast furnaces. Families benefit from Family Sundays, where children under 12 enter free with a paying adult. Students receive half price admission the first Thursday of each month with current ID, while seniors age 65 and older pay half price the first Wednesday. EBT, SNAP and ACCESS cardholders qualify for $3 admission. Children 6 and younger always enter free.
