About Nantahala Outdoor Center - Roswell Outpost
Nantahala Outdoor Center operates the Roswell Outpost, the exclusive on-site outfitter for the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area at Azalea Park and Don White Memorial Park in Roswell. Visitors rent equipment for tubing, rafting, kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddleboarding on serene flatwater and gentle Class I+ whitewater. The outpost also rents bikes and e-bikes for exploring more than three miles of improved trails throughout the river corridor. Hourly and half-day rental options accommodate all skill levels from novice to expert paddlers and cyclists. Youth paddling camps, mountain biking camps, and kayaking courses teach young adventurers new skills while exploring the river. Tubing trips on the Chattahoochee suit children ages 8 and older, while stand-up paddleboarding requires minimum age 11. Bike rentals work for families seeking a land-based alternative to water activities.
