About Cumming Fairgrounds
Cumming Fairgrounds in Cumming, Georgia hosts seasonal events featuring rodeo competitions and the annual country fair. The IPRA World Championship Rodeo takes place over Labor Day weekend with performances lasting approximately 2.5 hours, showcasing Bull Riding, Bare Back Riding, Barrel Racing, Cowgirl Breakaway Roping, Calf Roping, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, and Saddle Bronc Riding. A spring Rough Stock Rodeo event runs about 1.5 hours and includes Bull Riding, Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc, and Barrel Racing. The Cumming Country Fair & Festival features live music, free attractions and shows, farm animals, and local entertainment including a Native Indian and Heritage Village. The Great James H. Drew Exposition midway, one of the largest carnival midways in the United States, offers games, rides, and the Georgia Mountain Lift. The fair also provides carnival food options.
