Mosaic, Jekyll Island Museum occupies the historic stables building on Jekyll Island and presents interactive exhibits that tell the island's four-century history. The museum's high lofted ceilings and open design highlight the original building's construction. Visitors experience three main interactive exhibits: Set Sail transports guests back more than four centuries to when Native Americans inhabited Jekyll Island; Cruise the Causeway lets visitors get behind the wheel of a classic Studebaker as if visiting the newly established state park in the mid-1900s; and Dress the Part invites guests to explore treasures of the world's wealthiest families and choose from a virtual wardrobe. The museum also features a Revolutionary Jekyll Island exhibit exploring the island's ties to the Revolutionary War. Beyond the gallery, the museum operates guided historic tours including Landmark Trolley Tours, Adventures in Architecture, and Gilded Age Ghosts and Ghouls evening experiences. The museum's gift shop occupies the historic stables backdrop. The museum is located on Jekyll Island and charges admission, with hours posted online.
