Milestones of Flight Air Museum in Lancaster houses a collection of vintage aircraft and aviation history. Visitors explore planes including the North American B-25 Mitchell, which belonged to Howard Hughes, the Fairchild C-119C Flying Boxcar, and the Hawker Hunter F.51. The museum displays numerous other aircraft spanning different eras, from the Aeronca Grasshopper to the Sikorsky helicopters, including the UH-19D Chickasaw and UH-34J Seabat. The collection also features the Armstrong-Whitworth Argosy, the Boeing KC-97G Stratofreighter, and classic planes such as the Great Lakes 2T-1A and the Stinson 105 WAR. Military aircraft on display include the North American BT-14 Yale and a Focke Wulf 190. The museum's grounds are located at General William J. Fox Airport, approximately half a mile east of the terminal and tower in Lancaster, California. A gift shop is available on site. The museum operates on weekday and weekend schedules.
