Meteor City Trading Post in Winslow, Arizona features the Dino Drive-Thru, a one-of-a-kind dinosaur park where visitors drive through their personal vehicle to view over thirty dinosaurs on display, including Stegosaurus, Spinosaurus, Brachiosaurus, and Raptors. The attraction operates from a giant geodesic dome with a mohawk roof, visible for miles across the desert. Beyond the dinosaur drive-through, guests can participate in gemstone mining and fossil digging with provided sifting trays and sluicing troughs, selecting from four levels of pay dirt with guaranteed gemstone finds. The Shooting Gallery challenges visitors to fire a real BB machine gun at targets to win prizes. An oddities display, hurricane simulator, dinosaur rides, and paint-a-bug activities round out the offerings. The site includes a gift shop and trading post stocked with souvenirs. Originally established as a trading post and gas station in 1938, Meteor City operates as a Route 66 roadside attraction located west of Winslow on the way to Meteor Crater.
