About Mercier Orchards

Mercier Orchards is a fourth-generation family farm in Blue Ridge where visitors pick their own fruit during U-Pick events. The orchard grows strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, peaches, and over 40 apple varieties. The on-site bakery produces fresh baked goods daily, including apple cider donuts and fried pies. The market stocks seasonal fruits and vegetables alongside farm-made jams, jellies, preserves, and apple butter. The winery and hard cidery operates a tasting room where guests sample cider that Mercier Orchards grows, presses, ferments, and cans—the only Georgia apple orchard offering this complete process. Founded in 1943 by Bill and Adele Mercier, the farm occupies the original 27-acre property with the historic apple house still visible from the parking lot. A visit suits families and groups seeking hands-on agricultural experiences combined with food shopping and tastings.
