About McCollum Orchards

McCollum Orchards is a 200-year-old family farm in Lockport, New York, where visitors pick flowers in a self-serve u-pick garden. The farm grows more than two dozen varieties of flowers naturally, organically, and chemical-free. Guests select from two cup sizes at a kiosk near the garden entrance, with supplies and easy instructions provided. The larger cup fits approximately 50 stems; the regular cup holds about 25 stems. Visitors typically spend 45 minutes to an hour enjoying the blooms and disconnecting from daily life in what the owners describe as a quiet oasis. The farm also hosts seasonal events including a spring garden plant sale and farm dinners among the flowers. Children and families are welcome; supervisors ask that parents watch children at all times, as this remains a working farm. The property includes a canalstone house with 200 years of McCollum family history to explore.
