About Magic Escape Rooms Columbus

Magic Escape Rooms Columbus is an escape room venue where visitors solve puzzles and complete missions across custom multi-room sets in downtown Columbus. The two signature experiences are The Magician's Secret and Edison's Lost Invention. The Magician's Secret immerses players in the Golden Age of Magic, featuring secret compartments, classic puzzles, and illusion-themed challenges suited to families and first-timers. Edison's Lost Invention transports groups to a 100-year-old Columbus landmark where they uncover clues using relics of a lost Egyptologist to complete Thomas Edison's unfinished work, incorporating electrical apparatuses and atmospheric sci-fi storytelling for experienced players. Both games accommodate two to six players in private experiences with no stranger pairings. The venue uses Generation 3 technology with dynamic props, interactive lighting mechanisms, and electronics woven into the storyline. Games are story-first adventures incorporating local history, including details about Columbus native Howard Thurston, once the world's greatest magician. The location sits at 35 E Gay Street on the fifth floor in downtown Columbus near dining and convention venues.
