Lion Country Safari is a 300-acre wildlife park in Loxahatchee where visitors drive through a 4-mile preserve in their own vehicle to see lions, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, antelopes, ostriches, chimpanzees, and water buffalo in naturalistic habitats. General admission includes unlimited trips through the drive-through preserve and entry to The Gardens, a separate area with additional animal habitats, feeding encounters, and wildlife education programs. The park features an audio tour available throughout the property. Visitors typically spend four to six hours exploring both sections, allowing at least ninety minutes for the preserve drive and three and a half hours in The Gardens. Food and shopping options are available throughout the property.
