Lake Halbert Park is a 145-acre lakeside facility in Corsicana where visitors fish, swim, boat, picnic, and play sports. The lake itself spans 603 acres of water with ten miles of shoreline and reaches depths of eighteen feet, though the north cove offers shallower water at ten feet. Anglers fish for crappie, catfish, bass, and sunfish from the fishing pier or by boat using the boating ramp. The park provides tent camping and overnight fishing for those wanting extended stays. Sports facilities include baseball and softball fields, a basketball court, a practice soccer field, and league tournament play. Families use the playground equipment, picnic areas with tables and grills, and two pavilions available for gatherings. The metal and log pavilions both offer electricity for events. Amenities include parking, restrooms, RV spaces, and concessions. The park operates daily from early morning through evening hours and is ADA accessible throughout.
