Kitty Hawk Kites is an adventure outfitter offering outdoor recreation, instruction, and retail experiences across the Outer Banks. Visitors can learn hang gliding at the Flight School, the oldest hang gliding school on the East Coast and largest of its kind in the world, with instruction for beginning, intermediate, and advanced students. The company also offers kiteboarding lessons and gear, kayak tours, parasailing, dolphin tours, jet ski rentals, stand-up paddleboarding, surf lessons, electric bike tours, helicopter tours, wild horse tours, and walking ghost tours. The retail shop carries kites, toys, apparel, gifts, and beach-ready gear.
