About Kids Discovery Station

Kids Discovery Station is a nonprofit museum in Merced where children learn through hands-on play and creative activities. The facility features interactive exhibits including a Water Play area, Construction Zone, Art Studio, and Dramatic Play spaces designed to encourage imagination and creativity while developing skills across multiple disciplines. Visitors engage with daily toddler programs including Rhythm and Play, Little Lab Explorers, Sensory Play Mornings, Story Time and Puppet Theatre, and Paint, Create, and Play sessions. The station also operates summer camp with full-day sessions Monday through Friday, and organizes field trips for school groups. Birthday parties and special events round out the programming calendar. The venue serves children from infancy through early elementary school ages, providing a safe, positive environment dedicated to fostering child development and educational growth.
