Indian River Citrus Museum, Vero Beach

About Indian River Citrus Museum

Indian River Citrus Museum displays original crate labels, historical photographs, and artifacts that tell how citrus seeds reached Florida and became the world's finest fruit in the Indian River region. Visitors explore museum gallery interiors featuring citrus tools, vintage signs, advertising prints, and photographs of groves, workers, and pioneer families. The museum's gift shop sells Florida-made items including original crate labels and citrus products. Vero Heritage also operates the Vero Heritage Citrus Label Tour, an outdoor heritage trail with three signs in Historic Downtown Vero Beach that showcase the artistic labels once used on wooden shipping crates. A family-friendly scavenger hunt is available for download. The museum suits anyone interested in local history and agriculture. Families of three or more pay ten dollars for admission, while children under five enter free. The venue publishes its prices and hours on veroheritage.org.
