The Holmes County Open Air Art Museum showcases original works from local and regional artists throughout the grounds of The Inn at Honey Run in Millersburg, Ohio. Visitors walk paths through lush forest and rolling hillsides to encounter sculptures, installations and murals integrated into the natural landscape. Current installations include "Primitive Gateways," a cedar log sculpture with five gateways connected by a circular stone path, and "Scaleshift," an exploration of size and structure combining vulnerability with strength. "Around the Bend," made from recycled glass and welded steel at the museum's highest point, reflects landscape colors and accentuates the surrounding hillsides. "Chance Medley" is a large mural in blues, greens, reds and oranges exploring nature and self-awareness, while "Face of the Nations" is a ten-foot-tall Native American-inspired totem pole by local metalworking artists. Visitors experience the artwork across four seasons, with the ever-evolving natural setting providing an ever-changing canvas for the artistic installations.
