About Hamlin Hills

Hamlin Hills is a farm history museum in Forsyth where visitors explore Georgia's agricultural heritage through collections of antique equipment and working farm animals. The grounds display twenty-five antique tractors, trucks dating back to the 1920s, a steam engine, a hit-and-miss engine, a 1906 windmill, a 1937 saw mill, and a seventeen-passenger helicopter. The farm features seven of the world's largest fool's gold nuggets, wooly mammoth artifacts, a cane mill, and a forty-gallon still. Visitors can observe farm animals in their habitats and learn about the economic and nutritional benefits they provide. During spring and summer, guests pick strawberries or walk through peach orchards, and fall brings a pumpkin patch and corn maze. The farm also operates a gift shop stocked with local jams, jellies, pecans, pickles, sauces, wines, and other Georgia products. Educational field trips are available for student groups. A barbecue restaurant serves meals ending with homemade peach cobbler and ice cream.
