Ghost Hunter by Escape Room Era is a 90-minute immersive horror experience in Lake Forest where visitors step inside a cinematic narrative with live professional actors rather than solving puzzles. The 3,500-square-foot multi-level facility features genuine darkness, psychological intensity, and unpredictable encounters designed to make participants feel they are living through a horror movie. Groups of 4 to 12 people move through the environment as the story unfolds around them, encountering live actors who drive the experience forward while tension escalates. The experience includes extended periods of near-total darkness, direct interaction with professional performers, and moments of isolation and disorientation. Before arrival, a host customizes the experience to each group's comfort level and contact preferences. Participants should wear comfortable, mobile clothing and closed-toe shoes, with layers recommended. The 90-minute session includes arrival, the main experience, and a debrief. A safe word system and trained actors prioritize visitor safety throughout.
