About Georgia Renaissance Festival

Georgia Renaissance Festival is a themed village in Fairburn where visitors explore 160+ artisan shoppes, watch live jousting on tournament fields, and enjoy entertainment across 15 stages. The festival operates two seasons yearly: Spring Festival features Tudor royalty and King Henry VIII, while Fall Fling centers on Robin Hood and the Sheriff of Nottingham. Each season runs themed weekends with distinct experiences—Hallowtide with costume revelry, Harvest of the Old Gods with ancient rites, Feast of Fools with jesters and comedy, and Tournament of Champions with banner-flying knights. Throughout the village, visitors find taverns, food stands, and games alongside handcrafted clothing, jewelry, leatherwork, and art from artisans. Fall Fling also offers GARF After Dark, a 21+ series on select nights featuring themed entertainment, music, drinks, dancing, and late-night activities. The festival suits anyone seeking a full-day destination—families, friends, or first-time visitors—with unexpected encounters at every corner. Located in Fairburn just south of Atlanta, the venue charges admission and publishes its prices online.
