About El Paso Zoo and Botanical Gardens
El Paso Zoo and Botanical Gardens showcases animals from Africa, the Americas, Asia, and the Chihuahuan Desert. Visitors walk through exhibits to observe African lions, zebras, and a greater one-horned rhino. The zoo offers Wild Encounters Shows and scheduled animal presentations such as sea lion and rhino talks. Additional attractions include the Copper Canyon Challenge Ropes Course. The zoo features dining areas and a Safari Outfitters Gift Shop near the front gate. Strollers, wagons, wheelchairs, and electric scooters are available to rent. Close Encounters tours allow visitors to experience animals in new ways. The zoo also offers indoor and outdoor event venues, including the Event Pavilion, Asia Waterfall area, and Asia Rotunda, which can accommodate groups.
