Edge of Nowhere Farm (EON Farm) is a six-acre desert farm in Wittmann, Arizona, about an hour from downtown Phoenix. Founded in 2014 by Duane and Lori Hebert, the farm demonstrates how to transform raw desert land into a productive oasis. Visitors can tour the property and participate in U-pick activities to harvest seasonal fruit. The farm cultivates over 200 fruiting trees, vines and shrubs including apples, figs, pears, peaches, plums, mulberries and grapes. The operation also raises pastured chickens, turkeys, pigs and goats. The farm hosts on-site workshops and farm tours designed to teach visitors how to grow their own food in the Sonoran Desert climate. The Heberts' approach integrates livestock and regenerative farming practices to produce local, seasonal products for the Phoenix area.
