About Edenton Trolley Tour
The Historic Edenton Trolley Tour is a 50-minute guided vehicle tour that surveys Edenton's 300 years of history. Visitors remain seated throughout the tour, traveling in a vehicle that accommodates approximately 20 adults. The tour departs from the Penelope Barker House Welcome Center, where tickets are purchased at the Gift Shop. Tours operate Monday and Wednesday through Saturday at four scheduled times daily. Children ages 6 through 11 ride at a reduced admission rate, while children 5 and under ride free. Groups of 10 or more can arrange transportation at a discounted group rate. Service animals are permitted on the vehicle, though pets are not. Reservations can be made by contacting the Barker House Gift Shop by phone or email, and are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Extreme weather may affect trolley operation and seating availability.
