About Destination Arts!
Destination Arts! in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania is a network of galleries and studios where visitors view and experience visual art and crafts. The facilities include Gallery 50, 42 West ARTS Co-Op, Gallery 35 East, the Ceramic Arts Center of Waynesboro, and Walnut Street Studios. Visitors encounter oil paintings, watercolors, pottery, sculptures, jewelry, photographs, and furniture created by local artists. The attraction hosts demonstrations and classes throughout the year, such as potters' wheel demonstrations where visitors watch artists work with clay, and hands-on ceramic classes like pour-over coffee set workshops. Special events include gallery talks, such as presentations on eclipse photography featuring equipment and slide shows. The community book club meets to discuss novels, and paint parties invite participants to create art together. A talent competition called Waynesboro's Got Talent welcomes students ages eight to eighteen from the greater Waynesboro area.
