About Covered Wagon Tours

Covered Wagon Tours in Palm Desert operates off-road wagon tours through the Sonoran Desert, welcoming guests since 1987. Visitors board wagons for immersive desert experiences at a serene ranch-camp venue. The attraction offers multiple tour options including Ole Covered Wagon Tours, Off The Wagon Tour, and Desert Nature Tour, each providing distinct ways to explore the desert landscape. Guests ride on wagons while experiencing the natural desert environment through sensory engagement with the terrain and surrounding vegetation. The ranch features rustic facilities with upgraded accommodations while maintaining traditional hospitality. Tours include stops at designated points where visitors observe wildlife and desert flora. Tours culminate at dining tables where guests watch desert sunsets and enjoy evening meals prepared on-site. Covered Wagon Tours combines transportation by wagon with dining and scenic viewing in an outdoor desert setting, offering a distinctive alternative to standard sightseeing activities.
