About Corning Museum of Glass
Corning Museum of Glass in Corning displays more than 35 centuries of glass artistry across its galleries, where visitors watch live glassmaking demonstrations daily in the Amphitheater Hot Shop. The hands-on science and technology area lets guests explore glass innovations through interactive exhibits. Visitors can try the Make Your Own Glass workshop to create their own pieces under guidance from experienced glassmakers, with projects available for all ages and skill levels. The museum offers assistive listening devices during hot glass demos and loans sensory backpacks to guests with sensory needs. Free charging stations and WiFi are available throughout the campus. Museum admission tickets remain valid for two consecutive days, and children and teens under 18 receive free entry. Located in the Finger Lakes Wine Country region halfway between New York City and Niagara Falls, the museum suits families, students, and art enthusiasts of all ages.
